2 Situations Where a Rangefinder Golf GPS Benefits Your Game

In the PGA and many competition golf games, you can't use a golf GPS.

But you can use one out of competition, and it can significantly improve your game.  If you're looking to school your friends and co-workers, or looking to impress a new client, a rangefinder GPS like the Golf Caddie is the perfect tool.

You'll know everything a golf pro knows going into a competition game without having to pre-walk the course or hire a human caddie.  With the touch of a button, you'll be able to determine yardage and hole location.  You probably don't need this when you're on the green, but, we guarantee you'll find it useful in these situations.

Situation #1: In the Woods

When you're in the woods and can't see the green, a rangefinder GPS offers needed counsel.  By pressing a button, you're given the yardage information you need to make the right choice.  Do you use a 3 iron to punch it out of the leaves onto the fairway?  Or is the hole close enough and clearance great enough to pop it in the air, onto the green, with a 9 iron?

With a golf GPS, the best solution becomes evident.  When you're in the woods, golf ball surrounded by sticks, bugs and bent trees, knowledge of hole distance goes a long way.

Situation #2: On a Parallel Fairway

It happens.  Sometimes on the drive we miss our mark completely and, instead of hitting our fairway, we hit our neighbors'.  We yell FORE! and, afterwards, walk across to our neighbor's fairway shamefully, apologizing for our missed drive.

There's one way to make up for this mistake though: making a beautiful drive from our neighbor's fairway onto the grass around our green.  The only thing is, it's hard to calculate the hole's distance on a fairway that isn't respective to the flag we're shooting for.  Determining the best iron or wood to use requires information regarding distance.

Sure, we can guess the yardage.  Or we can do two things – guess AND click.  Clicking the button on a rangefinder GPS confirms or denies our guess and, ultimately, provides us with an accurate distance.  We can then use this information to pick the right club and reconcile ourselves for our sour tee shot.

These are just two of many situations where a rangefinder golf GPS helps you put your ball in its home, the hole beneath the waving flag.
